Artichocke Spinach Dip
- 1/2 cup of low-fat mayo
- just a pinch of salt & pepper
- 1/2 cup of low-fat Alfredo sauce
- 1 1/3 cup of shredded Havarti cheese
- 2 large cans of marinated artichoke hearts (15 oz)
- 2 cups of frozen spinach
- tablespoon of chopped olives
- 1 package of low-fat cream-cheese (optional)
- 1 small can of crab-meat (optional)
Throw all of the ingredients into the crock-pot, except the spinach. Throughly wash the spinach after it has been thawed. Chop the spinach and add to the crock-pot. Cook on low for 3 hours. Serves about 8-9 people
- Pairs great with french bread, celery sticks and crackers.
- Use a dip-size crock-pot
- If using a regular-sized crock pot, save the marinated juice from the artichokes to keep the dip from drying out.
