Heart Disease is the number one killer of women in the United States. Heart Disease kills more women over the age of 65 than all cancers combined. Smoking, Menopause, Stress, Depression, and Obesity all contribute to women developing Heart Disease. Women are likely to experience symptoms such as sweating, nausea, fatigue, and back/neck/shoulder discomfort rather than chest pains like men.
Make sure to eat a diet low in saturated fats and salts and incorporate brisk exercise like walking, at least 30 minutes 3 days a week.
