Shrimp Creole
This great tasting dish takes only a short time to make and yields about eight servings.
Only 105 calories and 3 grams of fat.
- 1 large onion; finely chopped
- 1/2 green pepper; finely chopped
- 6 ounces of no-salt tomato paste
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 2 teaspoons of lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons of sugar
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 4 dashes of Tabasco Sauce
- 1 1/2 cup of water
- 1 pound of fresh shrimp; shelled
Saute the oinion and pepper in the oil for about five minutes. Add seasonings, tomato paste, lemon juice, sugar and water. Simmer over low heat for five minutes. Add the shrimp and simmer for an additional ten mintues.
